I’m always in love with the world and the treasure of life that it gives but at the same time everything makes me so sad even happy things because you know that nothing lasts forever. Life is wonderfully and beautifully tragic. You must breathe into it what you can and also allow it to breathe into you.

So incredibly true, dear friend! I notice that with my kids so much–our time together under one roof makes me so incredibly happy, but there is always this underlying sadness that it is not going to last forever. “Life is wonderfully and beautifully tragic.” Sigh….so very true.

Yeah, I can imagine how it must be like with family. Time spent with the young ones must be a pleasure indeed. I suppose there is pain in watching them grow and become more independent each day.
